PKF 2017
Il PKF2017 propone per la consueta sezione “Sguardo sul nuovo cinema israeliano” opere che hanno riscosso successo sia in Israele che all’estero, e che rappresentano la varietà e il multiculturalismo che compone la società israeliana di oggi. Film di inaugurazione, Holy Air di Shadi Srour – ospite al festival con il produttore Ilan Moskovitch – presentato in anteprima italiana, una commedia che mostra un inedito spaccato delle diverse culture che convivono in Israele. Tra i numerosi titoli in programma, per la prima volta sarà presentato al pubblico italiano The Legend of King Solomon, l’ultima opera del Maestro dell’animazione israeliana Hanan Kaminski – anche lui tra gli ospiti del festival – dedicata a Gerusalemme e alla storia del Re Salomone. Tra i documentari, l’avvincente On the Map di Dani Menkin, prodotto da Nancy Spielberg, che racconta una delle pagine più importanti della storia e dello sport israeliano. Quindi, Shalom Italia, della regista Tamar Tal Anati, che racconta di tre fratelli ebrei israeliani, di origine italiana e del loro viaggio attraverso la Toscana, in cerca della caverna in cui da piccoli si erano nascosti per scappare dai nazisti. Fra i panel, “Raccontare il Medio Oriente attraverso il documentario”, incontro a due voci tra Itai Anghel e il direttore de La Stampa, Maurizio Molinari. Il panel sarà seguito dalla proiezione del doc Invisible in Mosul, in cui lo stesso Anghel si unisce con coraggio ai corpi speciali dell’esercito iracheno che avanzano verso Mosul sotto il fuoco nemico dell’ISIS e dei suoi terroristi suicidi.Durante la kermesse si svolgerà anche la prima edizione del Premio Emanuele (Lele) Luzzati, che premierà la migliore opera considerata meritevole da una giuria composta da intellettuali e artisti di rilievo.
Direzione artistica PKF
In co-direzione già dalla prima edizione del Roma Kolno’a Festival (2006) e poi ininterrottamente al PKF, Ariela Piattelli è nata a Roma, dove ha studiato al DAMS di RomaTre e si è laureata in Storia e critica del cinema. Oggi è giornalista e collabora con « Il Corriere della Sera ». In passato ha collaborato per alcune testate, tra cui « Il Giornale », l’agenzia Apcom (al desk di New York) e la rivista di cultura ebraica « Shalom » di cui è ancora redattrice. Nel corso degli anni ha approfondito gli studi sul rapporto tra arti figurative ed ebraismo e, nei suoi numerosi viaggi in Israele è venuta a contatto con il cinema israeliano. Dal 1998 è consulente dell’Ambasciata d’Israele in Italia per iniziative culturali e festival cinematografici. E’ stata membro della giuria al Jerusalem Film Festival 2008 (per la sezione “Jewish Experience”) ed è curatrice insieme a Raffaella Spizzichino e Shulim Vogelmann, del Festival Internazionale di Letteratura Ebraica. Nell’ultimo anno ha prodotto alcuni eventi culturali tra Italia e Israele, tra cui il concerto di Idan Raichel Project a Roma (Piazza del Campidoglio, in collaborazione con Zètema) e l’anteprima italiana di “Seven Days” di Ronit e Shlomi Elkabetz, nell’ambito del Festival Internazionale del Film di Roma.
Lirit Mash
Lirit Mash è attrice e sceneggiatrice. Di origine argentina, è nata e cresciuta in Israele (Kibbutz Gazit). Ha imparato a suonare il violino e partecipato alla “Youth Symphonic Orchestra” dei membri dei kibbutzim. Vissuta per tre anni a Roma, tornata in Israele si è diplomata in Arte alla “Alon High School for the Arts”. Nell’esercito, ha lavorato come istruttore sportivo nel “College Interdisciplinary for Command and Staff”. Nel 1997 si è diplomata come attrice presso la “Beit Zvi High School for the Performing Arts”. Già durante il terzo anno degli studi, ha girato per una serie televisiva “Merhav Yarkon” (ambientato in una stazione di polizia). Dopo aver completato gli studi, ha svolto un ruolo di primo piano al teatro di Haifa, uno dei quali: “Ghetto” diretto da Joshua Sobol. Negli ultimi 20 anni Lirit ha recitato in teatro, cinema e televisione e tra i suoi ruoli più importanti: “Zinzana” (serie televisiva girata in una vera prigione nel 1999), “Saturdays and Holidays” (tre stagioni di una serie di successo sulle relazioni di coppia, 2000-2003). “This Night” (2006-2013) dell’Orna Porat Theatre, sulla comunità marocchina fuggita in Israele negli anni ’50. “Yellow Peppers” serie venduta alla BBC (2013), “Milk and Honey” venduta a Channel 4 (2015) e molti spot fra i quali per l’IKEA, la Tnuva e la campagna “Violence Against Women”. Attualmente Lirit è protagonista in un commedia originale: “Daddy’s Fathers” insieme all’attore veterano israeliano Uri Gavriel. Ha insegnato “Dramma e interpretazione e preparato attori per audizioni. Nell’ultimo anno, Lirit ha scritto il suo primo copione per una co-produzione israelo-argentina e un libro ispirato alla sua infanzia in Kibbutz.Ospiti PKF 2017
Itai Anghel
Itai Anghel, a cui è stato recentemente conferito il Premio Sokolov, il massimo riconoscimento del giornalismo in Israele, è uno tra i più importanti reporter e giornalisti televisivi israeliani. E’ noto in patria e all’estero per i suoi documentari sui conflitti nel mondo, in particolare in Medio Oriente, e per la sua straordinaria capacità di raggiungere le zone di guerra, dove pochi reporter hanno il coraggio di addentrarsi, e di documentare le storie delle parti coinvolte.
Nel corso della sua carriera Anghel ha documentato tra gli altri i conflitti in Croazia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Haiti, Cecenia, Indonesia, Ruanda, Sud Africa, Libano, Gaza, Tunisia, Egitto. Anghel è andato in Siria e in Iraq spingendosi fino alle prime file di combattenti contro l’ISIS. E’ lui l’unico giornalista israeliano che ha “coperto” e toccato con la sua telecamera lo Stato islamico. Il reporter lavora presso il secondo canale della tv israeliana per il programma di documentari UVDA. Tra gli altri riconoscimenti, negli ultimi 5 anni ha vinto quattro volte il premio per il Miglior Documentario televisivo, e nel 2009 il “Cutting Edge Award” all’International Media Award di Londra. Al PKF2017 Anghel presenta il suo “Invisible in Mosul”.
Itai Anghel, who was just awarded the ‘Sokolov Prize’ – the highest prize for journalism in Israel, is one of the most prominent TV journalists in Israel.
He is known for his unique field-work and in-depth documentaries. He has the unique ability to deeply and fearlessly explore the most dangerous hot-spots around the globe, while intimately connecting with all parties involved.
During his career Anghel covered the conflicts in Croatia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Haiti, Chechnya, Indonesia, Rwanda, Kenya, Congo (DRC), South Africa, Lebanon, Gaza, Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq and Syria, among other places. His recent assignments took him to Syria and Iraq to the front line against ISIS. Anghel is the only Israeli journalist who has been covering the Islamic State from within. Itai Anghel works in the Israeli TV – Channel 2 for the documentary and current affairs program – ‘UVDA’. For the past five years his works won four times the award for ‘Best TV Documentary’ on behalf of the ‘Israeli forum for documentary film makers’. In 2009 Mr. Anghel won the ‘Cutting edge award’ in the ‘International Media Awards’ in London for his “superb and unbiased cover of the Middle East”.
Cecilia Brunelli
Cecilia Brunelli è nata e cresciuta a Milano nel 1995, si è trasferita a Londra 4 anni fa per conseguire una laurea in Cinema, diplomandosi questo giugno. Creare immagini è sempre stata la sua più grande passione. E’ un’appassionata fotografa, ambiziosa cinematografa e amante di viaggi. Quel che ama di più è raccontare storie attraverso i suoi lavori. E’ particolarmente interessata a etnie e questioni sociali, per questo motivo il suo sogno e di un giorno lavorare per grandi documentari.
My name is Cecilia Brunelli and I am 22 years old. I was born and raised in Milan, Italy but I moved to London 4 years ago to begin a Filmmaking degree from which I am graduated this June. Image making has always been my greatest passion. I consider myself a passionate photographer, an aspiring cinematographer and a travel addict. What I love the most is telling stories through my work. I am especially interested in ethnicities and social issues, and this is why one day my dream is to work for big scale documentaries.
Valerio Ciriaci
Valerio Ciriaci è un documentarista italiano con base a New York. Nato a Roma, nel 2011 si laurea in Scienze della Comunicazione all’Università La Sapienza con una tesi su Jean Rouch e l’etno-fiction. Quello stesso anno si trasferisce a New York per frequentare il corso di cinema documentario della New York Film Academy. Nel 2012 fonda la Awen Films con la quale lavora come regista e produttore per diverse produzioni non-fiction. I suoi primi corti documentari, Melodico e Treasure – The Story of Marcus Hook, sono stati selezionati in vari film festival internazionali, tra cui Big Sky Documentary Film Festival e Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival. Nel 2015 realizza il suo primo lungometraggio, If Only I Were That Warrior, vincitore del premio “Imperdibili” al 56˚ Festival dei Popoli e del Globo d’Oro 2016 per il miglior documentario italiano. Nel 2017 dirige CPL minidocs, una serie di documentari per il web, dedicati ai volumi editi dal Centro Primo Levi NY. Al PKF presenta il suo “Iom Romì”.
Valerio Ciriaci is an Italian documentary maker based in New York. Born in Rome, he graduated in Communication Sciences from Rome’s La SapienzaUniversity with a thesis on Jean Rouch and ethno-fiction. The same year he began the documentary film course at the New York Film Academy. He works as a director and producer in non-fiction productions for Awen Films, which he co-founded in 2012. His first documentary shorts, “Melodico” and “Treasure – The Story of Marcus Hook”, were selected for various international film festivals, including the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and the Hot Springs Documentary Film Festival. In 2015, he made his first feature film If Only I Were That Warrior, which won the Unmissable Prize at the 56th Festival dei Popoli and the 2016 Italian Golden Globe for Best Italian Documentary. In 2017 he directed “CPL minidocs”, a series of web documentaries dedicated to the works published by the Centro Primo Levi Centre New York. At PKF2017, he presents Iom Romì (A Day in Rome).
Ruggero Gabbai
Ruggero Gabbai inizia a fotografare all’età di 13 anni. In seguito si laurea alla Rochester Institute of Technology (Kodak) in fotografia e un minor in filosofia e poi in regia cinematografica alla Columbia University: la tesi sarà il suo primo documentario; “The King of Crown Heights”,trasmesso in prime time dalla PBS negli Stati Uniti e poi distribuito in tutto il mondo.Nel 1994 torna in Italia e nel 1997 firma la regia del documentario sulla Shoah italiana,“Memoria”, selezionato al Festival di Berlino. Gabbai ha diretto più di 30 documentari: tra i più recenti“Io ricordo”, sulla memoria delle vittime di mafia in Sicilia, e “Il viaggio più lungo”, selezionato al Festival di Gerusalemme e presentato in prima mondiale a New York e presentato al PKF 2013. Nel 2015 ha realizzato il film “Starting Over Again”, sulla comunità ebraica egiziana.Nel 2016, dopo diversi anni ha ultimato il film documentario “CityZEN” sul quartiere popolare di Palermo. Al PKF presenta il suo ultimo Libia, l’ultimo esodo.
Ruggero Gabbai began taking photographs at the age of 13. He graduated in Photography from the Rochester Institute of Technology, with a minor in Philosophy. Later, his graduate thesis in Film Direction at Columbia University would become his first documentary: “The King of Crown Heights” was distributed around the world and broadcast in the United States by PBS, in prime time. In 1994 he returned to Italy and in 1997 directed “Memoria” (Memory) about the Italian Holocaust, selected for the Berlin Film Festival. Gabbai has directed more than 30 documentaries, including “Io ricordo” (2008), about the memories of mafia victims in Sicily, and “Il viaggio più lungo” (The Longest Journey, 2013) which was selected for the Jerusalem Festival and had its world premiere in New York and presented at the PKF 2013. In 2015, he made “Starting Over Again” about the Egyptian Jewish community and in 2016 he concluded several years of work on the documentary “CityZEN”, about a working class neighbourhood in Palermo. At PKF 2017, Gabbai presents his latest work, Libia, l’ultimo Esodo (Libya, the way we were).
Hanan Kaminski
Considerato uno dei più importanti registi di lungometraggi e di serie televisive al mondo, Albert Hanan Kaminski è il grande Maestro dell’animazione israeliana. Nasce a Bruxelles nel 1950, da una famiglia sopravvissuta alla Shoah. A vent’anni si trasferisce in Israele per lavorare nel kibbutz, dove coltiva anche la passione per il disegno. Si diploma alla Bezalel Academy of Art and Design di Gerusalemme, dove fonda e dirige il Dipartimento di Animazione, da dove escono i grandi talenti del cinema d’animazione israeliano. E’ alla Bezalel che Kaminski incontra Emanuele Luzzati, ed è un incontro importante che ricorderà per sempre. Kaminski continua i suoi studi alla Rijksakademie di Amsterdam, dove produce il suo primo cortometraggio, “the Pink and the Grey” (1981). Intanto il regista si dedica alla creazione di cortometraggi d’animazione per la TV israeliana. Nel 1982 inizia a collaborare con il Children’s Television Workshop di New York, con cui crea film per la trasmissione cult Sesame Street (diventata poi “Rehov Sumsum” nella versione israeliana, e “Shaara Sumsum” in quella araba). Nel 1985 si trasferisce a Parigi dove conosce Paul Grimault, che diviene suo amico e mentore. Il punto di svolta nella carriera di Kaminski arriva nel 1995, con l’uscita del suo primo lungometraggio, “The Real Shlemiel” (1995), tratto da un racconto dello scrittore ebreo Premio Nobel Isaac Bashevis Singer. Oltre ai lungometraggi, distribuiti in più di sessanta paesi, dirige serie TV tra cui “Pettson and Findus” (che gli è valso il Pulcinella Award a Cartoons on the Bay 2001). Il PKF consegna a Kaminski, nell’ambito della presentazione della sua ultima opera in anteprima italiana The Legend of King Solomon, il Premio alla Carriera.
Albert Hanan Kaminski, the great master of Israeli animation, is considered one of the most important film and TV directors in the world. Born in Brussels in 1950 into a family of Holocaust survivors, he travelled to Israel at the age of twenty to work on a kibbutz where his passion for drawing developed. He graduated from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, where he later founded and directed the Animation Department, responsible for forming the great talents of Israeli animation. Here he met Emanuele Luzzati, an important meeting he will remember forever. Kaminski continued his studies at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam, where he produced his first short film The Pink and the Grey (1981). In the same period, he was also creating animated short films for Israeli TV. In 1982 he began working with the Children’s Television Workshop in New York creating films for the cult show Sesame Street (Rehov Sumsum in the Israeli version and Shaara Sumsum in the Arabic). Then in 1985 he moved to Paris where he met Paul Grimault who was to become his friend and mentor. A real turning point in his career came in 1995 with his first feature length film, The Real Schlemiel, based on a story by the Nobel Prize winning Jewish writer Isaac Bashevis Singer. Kaminski’s feature films have been distributed in more than 60 countries and he has directed TV series including Pettson and Findus, which won the Pulcinella Award at Cartoons on the Bay in 2001. On the occasion of the Italian premiere of his latest film, The Legend of King Solomon, PKF2017 is recognising Kaminski with its Lifetime Achievement Award.
Ram Landes è uno dei personaggi più importanti dell’industria televisiva israeliana. Ha ideato e prodotto molti programmi premi in Israele e all’estero, serie televisive di successo e nuovi format. Ha fondato la Koda Communications, una delle compagnie televisive più innovative d’Israele. Koda ha prodotto anche a New York il format “Connected”, che è stato venduto in 22 paesi e tra gli altri ha vinto per 5 volte il premio dell’Accademia israeliana. Ha prodotto la serie tv Your Honor, che ha vinto il Grand Prix jury Prize al Series Mania International Festival di Parigi, e che sarà riadattata negli Stati Uniti. Landes ha inoltre rivoluzionato il mondo della soap opera israeliana con “Exposed”, che raccontava il mondo delle news. Il produttore è stato anche fondatore del Channel 2 News, il telegiornale più popolare del paese.
One of the most important figures in the Israeli TV industry, Ram Landes has created and produced numerous programmes that have won awards in Israel and abroad, including new formats and successful series. He set up Koda Communications, one of the country’s most innovative TV companies, responsible for the format Connected, produced in New York, five-times winner of the Israeli Academy Award and sold to 22 countries. Landes produced the series Your Honor, which won the Grand Prix Jury Prize at the Series Mania International Festival in Paris, soon to be adapted for the United States. Moreover, he revolutionised Israeli soap opera with Exposed about the world of news gathering and was also the founder of Channel 2 News, Israel’s most watched TV news bulletin.
David Meghnagi
David Meghnagi è nato a Tripoli nel 1949. Vive e lavora a Roma.Professore di Psicologia presso la Facoltà di Scienze della Formazione dell’Università Roma Tre e docente di Psicologia della Religione e di Pensiero Ebraico al Master Internazionale in Scienza dellaReligione. E’ membro della Delegazione italiana presso la Task Force for International Cooperation on HolocaustRemembrance and Education. È stato Vicepresidente dell’Unione delle Comunità Ebraiche Italiane e delegato per l’Italia presso laConferenza dell’OSCE contro l’antisemitismo. È stato consulente del Centro di Cultura Ebraica diRoma. Ha collaborato a diverse testate giornalistiche e riviste italiane e straniere (tra cui laRepubblica, Il Messaggero, Liberation, International Review of Sociology, International Review ofPsychoanalysis). Al PKF presenta Libia, l’ultimo Esodo.
David Meghnagi, who works and lives in Rome, was born in Tripoli in 1949. He is Professor of Psychology at the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Roma Tre University and teaches Psychology of Religion and Jewish Thought for the International Master of Religious and Cultural Sciences. He is a member of the Italian delegation to the Task Force for International Cooperation on Holocaust Remembrance and Education. Previously Vice President of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities and Italian delegate to the OSCE Conference on Anti-Semitism, he was a consultant for the Centre of Jewish Culture in Rome and contributes to many Italian and international newspapers and magazines, including la Repubblica, Il Messaggero, Liberation, International Review of Sociology and International Review of Psychoanalysis. At PKF 2017, Meghnagi presents Libia, l’ultimo Esodo (Libya, the way we were).
Ilan Moskovitch è un regista e produttore e direttore casting. Per più di vent’anni è stato una figura fondamentale dell’industria cinematografica israeliana, partecipando a più di 30 produzioni..

Shady Srour
è un attore, regista, sceneggiatore e produttore cinematografico, teatrale e televisivo. Con un B.A. alla Tel Aviv University in recitazione e un Master in regia all’Academy of Art University di San Francisco, Shady partecipa al film 24 Hours Jerusalem, che nel 2014 vince il premio della tv tedesca per il miglior documentario. Ha recitato nel cortometraggio Ave Maria, che è stato nominato agli Oscar. Al PKF 2017 presenta la sua opera prima Holy Air, con cui ha già partecipato al Tribeca Film Festival.
Shady Srour is an actor, screenwriter, director and producer for cinema, theatre and TV, and a lecturer at the Open University. He has B.A degree from Tel-Aviv University in theater acting and M.F.A in filmmaking from the Academy of Art University, San Francisco. Lately Shady was involved in the film 24 Hours Jerusalem (arte), which won the German TV award for best documentary in 2014. He was the lead in the Oscar-nominated short film Ave Maria.
Holy Air is his feature debut that participated in Tribeca Film Festival in the International Competetion and Samuel Goldwyn are handeling the U.S. release.
Tamar Tal
Tamar Tal Anati nasce nel 1980 a Tel Aviv. E’ documentarista e fotografa. Il suo Life in Stills, già presentato al PKF, le è valso tra gli altri il premio come Miglior Film Israeliano al Docaviv Film Festival (Tel Aviv), il riconoscimento come Miglior Regista Emergente al Dok Leipzig Int’l Film Festival in Germania. Ha ricevuto oltre 20 premi nei festival internazionale del mondo, e il suoi documentari sono stati trasmessi da molti canali televisivi in vari paesi. Tamar presenta al PKF2017 il suo Shalom Italia, una coproduzione tra Israele e Germania.

Her award winning film Life In Stills won “Best Israeli Film” in Docaviv Film Festival in Tel Aviv, “Best new director” in Dok Leipzig Int’l Film Festival, Germany, and many more festivals.
She received more than 20 international awards. Since it was released, the film has been screened in more than 100 festivals around the world (HOTDOCS, DOKFEST, ONE WORLD FF and more) and internationally broadcasted. (ARTE,SVT, KNOWLEDGE NETWORKD and more).
Her new film Shalom Italia is a German-Israel co-production. Selected to DocAviv Film Festival 2016 and will premiere in AFI DOCS in Washington.
Sguardo sul nuovo cinema israeliano
Basato sulla vera storia d’amore tra Pnina Gary e Eli Ben-Zvi, figlio di Rachel Yanait e Yitzhak Ben-Zvi il secondo presidente dello Stato d’Israele, il film è ambientato subito prima della fondazione dello stato di Israele. Margalit incontra Eli per caso su un autobus e si innamora immediatamente di lui. Lei cerca di avvicinarsi a lui, ma Eli è troppo occupato nelle forze speciali del Palmach e nella gestione dell’arrivo dei superstiti della Shoah. Tra i due nasce una storia d’amore. Così Margalit raggiunge Eli in kibbutz dove cerca di adattarsi alla nuova vita nella comunità agricola. Presto la storia irrompe nelle loro vite.
Set in 1947-1948, during the turbulent time of pre-state Israel, An Israeli Love Story is based on the true story of the love affair between Pnina Gary and Eli Ben-Zvi, son of Rachel Yanait and Yitzhak Ben-Zvi, second President of the State of Israel. Margalit meets Eli by chance on a bus and instantly falls in love with him. She tries to get close to him, hoping he will reciprocate, but Eli is too preoccupied with his work in the Palmach (élite fighting force) and managing the arrival of Holocaust survivors. Despite this, a serious relationship develops between the two and Margalit joins Eli on the Beit Keshet kibbutz, where she attempts to adapt to country life. However, the harsh reality of history soon intervenes.

Based on the eponymous book by Itay Meirson, The 90-Minutes War takes place on a soccer field. After a century of conflict, Israelis and Palestinians decide to settle the dispute over the right to the land with a soccer match. The winner will get the whole territory, the loser will have to go live elsewhere. The match will be played in Portugal, a “neutral” land. In this surreal comedy, Europe is seen in filigree, with its difficulties in understanding and resolving this conflict.

Jerusalem. The peaceful life of a couple, Etty and Tzion, and their community is disturbed when the women’s balcony of their synagogue collapses during a Bar-Mitzvah. The community is lost without their meeting place and, faced with financial and bureaucratic obstacles, attempts to rebuild the balcony are thwarted. Until one day, a charismatic, young, rabbi proposes a reconstruction plan. He begins to push the community towards a rigid style of religious life, creating conflict between the women and the men. Seeing their traditions and the peace in which they have always lived under threat, Etty and the other women rebel. The Women’s Balcony, which has been presented at Jewish film festivals worldwide, is an exhilarating comedy that offers food for thought.

For years, the footage of a long interview with David Ben Gurion, father of the State of Israel, lay buried and forgotten, deep within the Spielberg Archive in Jerusalem. The interview, conducted by a young American, Clinton Bailey, took place in 1968 at Sde Boker, the kibbutz that had been Ben Gurion’s home for years. By now far removed from the political scene, the great statesman reviews the world events in which he played a central part, and lays out his surprisingly prophetic vision for Israel’s future. In composing and revealing this unseen portrait of Ben Gurion in the last stage of his life, Mozer and Perlov have brought a piece of history back to the light.

Harmoniais a modern adaptation of the story of Abraham, Sarah and the young Hagar. Sarah is a harpist with the Jerusalem Philharmonic Orchestra; Abraham its powerful conductor. When Hagar, a young musician from East Jerusalem joins the orchestra, she bonds with Sarah and a unique friendship evolves between the two women. Sarah is unable to bear children and Hagar’s offer to have one for her shakes the fragile balance in her family. The birth of Ben, who is to become a genius pianist, leads to a dramatic clash between the mothers. Harmonia interprets the metaphorical roots of the ancient conflict between two populations living in conflict in Jerusalem, shown in the film as now seeking harmony.
